The initiative #portraitsfornhsheroes was set up during the pandemic by artist Tom Croft to give artists a chance to thank our NHS Heroes by giving them a portrait. I was privileged to have the opportunity to paint Dr. Eva Sammut MMBS, PhD, a senior Cardiology Trainee at the Bristol Heart Institute. Her beauty and dedication are impossible to ignore.
